When my 5 year old daughter fell and almost knocked out her front teeth this summer Dr. Lopez and the staff of Bethesda Dental Specialties really came through. Even though Dr. Lopez was out of the office at a pediatric dentistry conference, the staff got in touch with Dr. Lopez and within the hour Dr. Lopez called back. Over the next week, even though he was out of the office, Dr. Lopez and his staff coordinated to evaluate and start treatment. X-rays of her mouth, digital photos, e-mails and phone calls and going the extra mile really made a difference. As soon as Dr. Lopez was back in the office he had her in to complete the treatment. Today she looks great and still has her beautiful smile.

I have been thoroughly pleased with the services my son Philip has received from pediatric dentist Dr. Lopez. Philip started seeing Dr. Lopez when he was just 4 years-old and had excruciating pain in a tooth. Needless to say, Philip has since had two teeth pulled and a number of cavities filled — and he is only 5 1/2. It’s been a long 18 months, but Philip now goes to Dr. Lopez’ office willingly, he listens carefully to Dr. Lopez’ instructions on how to care for his teeth and he even understands which foods to not eat that will harm his teeth. Philip was even proud to host Dr. Lopez at his Pre-K class on dental health. I credit Dr. Lopez’ patience and calm demeanor with making some traumatic experiences for my son very easy-going and welcoming. Philip also loves the fish tank and toy chest in the office!!

I’m impressed. The office is nice and the assistants are competent and efficient. The price we were quoted for Invisalign® was very fair, and it’s been working like a charm. We’ve left other practices because their prices were outrageous, so this is a welcome relief.
