Update from Drs Dina, Shin and Hickory, your dental specialty team

Dear BDS Patient Families,

We hope this message finds you well and healthy.

During this challenging time, our core value remains “SAFETY FIRST, SAFETY ALWAYS.” We have been working to establish protocols, so that we can open soon. Our protocols are based on recommendations from numerous professional and regulatory agencies. While no activity can be risk-free, we are doing our best to see patients as safely as practically possible. The fundamentals include: greatly limiting the number of people in the office, screening all staff and visitors, and diligent use of PPE. We appreciate your understanding that safety may come with some inconveniences and with limited appointment availability.

Dr Wayne Hickory, our orthodontist, has been using a phone app for weekly checks, greatly reducing the need for office visits while giving better treatment guidance. We provide brace and aligner treatment for ages 7 to 70. A consultation is recommended at age 7. Dr Hickory has been America’s leading Invisalign orthodontist, every year for 21 years. Dr Hickory will review your photos and Mich, our new patient coordinator, will then set up a call, to give you all the information typically provided at an in-office consultation.
